The 2.0 HDi 90bhp engine is the base tuned variant for this common rail 1 range of engines. The engine utilises an early type turbo without direct electronic control and has no intercooler fitted. The power gains at 129bhp are safe and reliable but in order to obtain more from this engine an intercooler would need to be fitted as to ensure safe exhaust gas temperatures. The intercooler off the 110bhp would be ideal but the inlet manifold and plumbing would also be required making it a substantial job. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fueling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Stage Notes

This Stage 1 ECU remap, developed by Celtic Tuning, is designed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances.

It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.
